This is my 1949 MG TC. I bought this car 12 months ago and it was restored 20 ago. After many years restoring cars it’s now my turn to benefit from the fruits of another restorers work. Having said that i have worked on this car ever day since. The projects started with rebuilding the carburettors, making from scratch a new mohair hood, side screens and tonneau, fitted chrome wire wheels with blockley tyres and alfin drums. I managed to obtain and fit a rare midge mascot. I then fitted the rear luggage rack with my own design integrated indicators. I designed and made my own style side wind deflectors. I am currently working on refurbishing the brake system as it has just been stood unused too long.
One of my future projects will the design and manufacture of a picnic box for the rear with integrated HMV gramophone
There always something to do to keep a car in top condition
