I bought my 1960 Ford Consul in February this year having just sold a 1968 MG 1300. I intended getting something small preferably a Mini, oh well. It is certainly a comfortable lounge like ride.
It’s history is a bit vague, started life in South Wales then, about 20 years ago arrived at Stondon Motor Museum where it remained until the museum closed and all the cars were auctioned off.
The bodywork is pretty solid, cills and other repairs carried out professionally by previous owners and the paintwork whilst not perfect has a shine to it!
I’ve had to put in new Furflex, there was none in the car when I got it and there is a bit of bodywork (bottom of 2 doors) to get sorted.
I’m looking forward to getting out and about in it soon.
