Since 1996 North West Casual Classics have hosted an Annual show. This used to take place at The Ferry Tavern at Fiddlers Ferry on the banks of the Mersey. In early 2014 the access bridge to the site collapsed. With this and the fact that we were fast approaching the capacity of the site, we decided to re-locate to the Hale Village Carnival.
The Carnival itself includes a variety of entertainment. Various stalls selling home made cakes, pies and greeting cards, etc. Live music is performed from the stage and community groups are also in attendance.
We at North West Casual Classics have now become part of this fabulous event presenting our Annual Show.
In 2020 the World took a hiatus for a couple of years whilst it dealt with the Coronavirus epidemic and like many other events, Hale found it difficult to return in 2022. So that year we moved our Annual Show to Mesnes Park Newton le Willows. We now return to Hale as the area we are allocated is unrivalled in respect of the space for exhibiting Classic Vehicles.
The Fairground gives rides galore and there are the usual attractions. The craft stalls, vintage stalls, food is on offer and don’t forget the live music. Come and show your Classic vehicle, whether it be a car, caravanette, van, Hot Rod, truck, you will all be welcome. You don’t need to be a member of North West Casual Classics, or any Club for that matter, just book in on our website. Clubs are most welcome, just book in as a Club. Don’t be shy it is always a great day and plenty to do even for those ‘significant others’ who maybe don’t appreciate Classic Vehicles as much as we do.
